Probably the most enjoyable thing about shooting, for me, is the ability to GO BACK!
Recently, my wife Ashlie was the Matron of Honor is her best friend, Alison's wedding. Just so happens this wedding was in a beautiful island just off the coast of Cancun called Isla Mujeres! If you've never been, you need to check into it! It's gorgeous!
Alison and Jeremy are an amazing couple. They asked if I'd be open to shooting their wedding. Now, first of all, I'm not a "wedding photographer". There's typically just too much to deal with concerning weddings. (ex: bride-zillas - pushy MOTB's - the pressure of capturing the one moment - etc...) Luckily, I know Alison and her family, and they are the exception to the examples! So, knowing who they are and where this wedding was, I agreed!
After we got there, I found out Alison and Jeremy never shot any engagement photos. Everything they did was poured into their one special day. So, we took the opportunity to jump on the golf cart and tool around this beautiful 4 mile island, snapping candid shots of these two love birds.
We grabbed a couple of coconuts...
Hung out on a pier...
...and got close!
And the best part, they can go back there ANYTIME!
